Angel Paws would like to acknowledge the generous contribution of member Nancy Thome in memory of her beloved friend Lorraine Evelyn Wagner Barnes; 1920-2013
 
Evelyn was a true animal lover and a dear friend to Nancy.  Lorraine was born in Spokane, WA and lived in the family home for 70 years.
 
Evelyn’s appreciation of nature was through gardening, birding, wildlife and the preservation of produce.  She was a loving wife and mother. A homemaker with a strong work ethic, living through wars taught her how to live a conservative lifestyle.
 
We thank Nancy for letting us get to know her friend Evelyn and for her generosity.  Through her gift Evelyn’s love of animals will live on.
 
Evelyn was 92 when she passed. We hope we are all so fondly remembered by our friends as Lorraine Evelyn Wagner Barnes has been by Nancy Thome.
